Take a look at these first official pictures of the Mercedes Fascination concept’s more sober cousin, the Mercedes E-class estate. It’s the latest variation to join the burgeoning Mercedes E-class family, leaving only the convertible and – possibly – the Fascination-emulating sport wagon to come. At the front, you’d be hard-pushed to find a difference between the new E-class estate and the saloon.
As initially reported, Mercedes-Benz will reveal its replacement for the aging CLK coupe at the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show. Called the E-Class Coupé, the new two-door has a distinctly sportier overall aesthetic than the sedan it's based on and the model it replaces. The front face is virtually identical to that of the sedan, but the rhomboid-shaped headlamps have more incisive contours for a more dynamic look.
The BMW i8 (Pictured) will sell best in US, UK & Germany
In a case of stating the obvious in a bid to keep interest in the BMW i8 high ahead of its debut at Frankfurt next month, Hendrik Wenders – the i8 product manager – has declared the biggest market for the BMW i8 will be the USA. As America is already BMW’s biggest market place, that’s not entirely a shock, and nor is the news that the UK and Germany will be the biggest markets in Europe. After all, they’re the only major economies in Europe without huge falling markets for cars.
